EKITI 2018: FAYEMI OR FAYOSE II

As days hurtle forward and time rolls by, what is urgently clear is that the preparation for each contestants to emerge victorious in the governorship election in Ekiti state, South-West Nigeria is gradually being intensified.
Despite our pretension that we operate a multi-party system in Nigeria, the two main political parties that dominate the political sphere are APC(All Progressive Congress) and PDP(Peoples Democratic Party). The two main actors in this political phenomenon(the july 14 election) belong to the political parties mentioned above i.e the governorship candidate for APC is Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, a conservative politician who is the ex-governor of Ekiti state (2010-2014) and also the former Minister of solid minerals (2015-2018). The PDP's governorship candidate is a loyalist of the state governor, Ayo Fayose's annointed successor and current deputy governor; Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka popularly called Fayose II(Fayose the second).
Assessing the quality of good governance and democratic dispensation under the two main contestants i.e Fayemi is an ex-governor of Ekiti(2010-2014) while Fayose and Eleka are the current governor and deputy governor respectively of this state (2014-2018); what is tragically clear that the july 14th gubernatorial election in Ekiti state will be a commedy of mannerism, occassioned by APC's desperacy to win Ekiti state and thereby capturing all South-West states as APC controlled states, in preparation for the 2019 presidential election and Fayose's untiring and diehard efforts at installing his current deputy, who is also his annointed candidate as the new governor of Ekiti state to further stabilize his presidential ambition under the aegis of the PDP. So what is the deal? Ekiti 2018: Who would you prefer to win the july 14 2018 governorship election in Ekiti state? Fayemi(APC) or Fayose II(PDP)?
